Into Me

Into Me

I am but an empty cup

Poured out in the hope of filling up

Fragrant aroma begins to steep

The fullness I simply long to keep

Rushing out, over the edge of the lip

Cascading down, the flow is but a drip

Not to scolding nor too hot

Flowing sweetness touching hearts

Looks of comfort is what you see

Gentle warmth to them in need

Faced once more with your feelings of loss

Made you were, to carry this cost

Empty and clean you look brand new

Time once again for Him to pour into you
