Would you like to join our church? Here are the steps:
Step 1 - Do we know you yet?
Do you live close enough to be physically present at our meetings? It isn't really practical to be a part of the Firebrand family if not.
Have you visited us before? It's important that you know us a bit, and that we know you also.
Step 2 - Are you a disciple of Jesus Christ?
Have you repented of all sin, and submitted to the Lordship of Jesus Christ? Have you been baptized in water? If not those things are quickly remedied. We would love to explain this most important relationship to you and pray with you, but, you don't need anyone to pray with you.
Just pray this simple prayer: "Lord Jesus Christ, I submit to your Lordship over all things, including me. and I repent from all the sin in my life. I determine from this day to follow you."
Let us know if you prayed that prayer, we would love to celebrate with you, and lead you into water baptism. You can also find out more in our Foundations Manual.
Step 3 - Have you done the Firebrand Genes Class?
Spend an hour doing our on-line "looking in" class called Firebrand Genes. This step tells you all about us, and how we run the church. It's important that you know what kind of church we are and how we're structured. We host a lunch after church once a quarter for those who have completed the course to get to know you and give you opportunity to ask any questions you may have.
You will need to create an online profile on our website. This will give you access to all of our classes, but it won't give you membership access yet.
Step 4 - Have you let us know your intentions?
Have a talk with one of the elders and let them know you're ready to join us. That's pretty much it.
We will give you membership access to our community including the groups and community wall, the church directory, and other online membership resources.
